Happy Monday! It is another great day in another great week to GO FOR IT!
Are you absolutely, over the moon happy and satisfied with your life? Energetic and passionate? Organized? If you are, YES! You know what I am talking about! If you are not, do not worry, you can be!
Decide and Design is a mantra that I came up with for myself, and have been sharing with close friends. Today I am sharing it with you and encouraging you to use it for yourself!
What are you waiting for? What has been holding you back? Starting today, NOTHING!
Decide what you want, who you want to be, where you want to be, and design it down to every last detail. (Or at least start with the first few details until the rest organically falls into a place of clarity for you.)
I have had a fairly successful business making bath products and other neat items for the better part of a decade, and I loved and still love making pretty things. Along with that, I offered services of Reiki(a very positive, healing energy work) and Readings, specializing in Empowerment for Women. I loved what I was doing, though it was no longer fully igniting that spark of passion in me. I love my private clients that come to get Reiki and leave more Empowered each session.
So I Decided and Designed! I closed the doors to my company, and decided that I want to continue on with this blog as it is such a place of happiness for me(and hopefully for my readers, as well!) and I will be offering my Reiki services alongside my Empowerment/Lifestyle Coaching.
I encourage you, right now, today, to Decide and Design. It does not even have to be a huge, life changing event, you can Decide and Design with all kinds of things and situations.
What will you work on Deciding and Designing today? Would you be interested in learning more about how to Decide & Design?(via another blog post, or perhaps a youtube post?)
If you are a Mama, raise your hand if you have/had morning sickness (which is actually....all day sickness for most of us!) during your pregnancy.
Raise your hand if you are one of many (or your child is) who get motion sickness?
I thought so! I am in the lucky boat(boat, hee hee) of people that both suffers from nausea while pregnant, and during car or boat trips. At press time I am happily typing with my feet firmly on land, and am not pregnant. buuuut I can really appreciate a great product when I see one!
Moms Meet and Sea Band Mama! sent me a lovely care package to review and share with my readers. We tried out the Sea Band Mama! Acupressure Bands, Sea Band Mama! Aromatherapy Rollette, Sea Band Children's Acupressure Bands, and Sea Band Mama! Ginger Lozenges.
The Acupressure Bands are a life saver for any Mama. You can use them during pregnancy, on a flite, a boat ride, or car trips. We have been taking day trips almost every weekend to different towns to house hunt, and the car rides can be taxing for myself and the children. Not anymore. Really! You slip the bands onto yours and/or your child(s) wrists, the band works with the acupressure point P6 (Pericardium 6) and you are good to go! Like, goooooo on that drive! Terrific! If you are pregnant and need to go somewhere, this is such a fantastic aid. I let a couple of my with child Mama friends try these out and they all went and purchased their own!
Can we talk about the Sea Band Mama! Lozenges?! Wow! The lozenges come in a convenient little box with two blister packs of 24 lozenges total. Cute packaging, and nice little box that easily fits into your purse, backpack, or glove compartment.
The natural ginger in the lozenges is nice, it is quite present (a plus for a ginger fan like me) though not excessive and overpowering, making it good for Mamas who need something slightly tame. You take a lozenge in the morning to help neutralize your stomach acid, and then a few throughout your day as needed(do not take more than 10 a day, please) Ginger is one of my favorite remedies, I really love it.
If you are not a lozenge person, but still want the benefit of ginger, check out the Sea Band Mama! Rollette. Or if, like me, you want a triple whammy of bands, lozenges, and oils, add it to your tool kit!
Me and essential oils go together like peanut butter and jelly(sub sunflower butter if you're an allergen household! (; ) I forever love and stand by a good product with essential oils. The Sea Band Mama! Rollette contains essential oils of Lime, Spearmint, and Ginger. Roll onto your wrists, temples, or chests whenever you need relief and it will help you! The Rollette is a favorite of mine and my Mama friends, and my children ended up liking it as well. This is not an overpowering aroma, the Rollette is soothing and pleasant, I promise.
Where can you get these? I am glad you asked, because it could not be any easier, no matter where you shop! You can purchase Sea Band Mama! products at:
I know that you will be so happy with their products! If you know a Mama to be who has been feeling some discomfort with morning sickness, please go buy her a little gift pack of the bands, lozenges, and rollette, you will be her very favorite friend or family member!
Moms Meet and Sea Band Mama! Did send me these products for free for an honest review and compensate me, though these opinions are my own, and as always, 100% honest like you can always count on from me in real life, and here on the Rose Tinted Mama Blog. I love good products and love sharing with you!
It is finally here, September! This has always been a special time of year for me. Back to school, the pre holiday season, the last special few months before the New Year. The promise of special new beginnings and new traditions.
We have started a new a new mini tradition in our family of visiting a different small town each month and having lunch. This is not only yummy fun, but for us serves the double purpose of scouting towns to purchase a home in. It makes what is an exhausting task much more fun and laid back. Saturday we check out another town, wish us luck!
Sunday, September 10th is Grandparents Day! I suggest celebrating by cooking a special meal for your favorite Grandparents.
September 22nd is the Autumnal Equinox, a traditional favorite for us Fall babies and Fall fans in general.
This Autumn we want to try to visit one of our local apple orchards, and then can a large batch of apple sauce, maybe even some apple pie filling? Do you have a favorite way to prepare apples?
Enjoy your September!
